Lost in the rise and fall of their voices

Conversations drift in and out

Overlap in my mind and caress the shore

Of consciousness

What a wonder and an honor to hear

The Universe express itself

Individual enlightenments

1000 points of consciousness

I honor their exchange

Rejoice in their thought and emotions shared

Love, sweat, and tears
Hang in the Shadowland
Stain the grave
Where lovers dream

I am a lover
And I dream

I dream of your soft flesh
Warm and smooth
Beneath the Desire
That reaches out for you.

The walls amplify your absence

Your absence
Like the sea
In which pieces of you reside -
Lingering emotion wanting form.

Your voice floats to me
On faded parchment,
Floats like wizened driftwood
Across lonely waves -
Though I fear I forget already
The shapes and textures you spoke.

I call your name
Through the dimensions that divide us

Name the wishes I have for you,
But names and wishes fall dead –

Dawn winked to me
From the arms
Of midnight

As I stood –
Enraptured,
Watching the Way
of You.

How sweet to remember
The breath, the flow,
the flash of your skin

The way the moist night held you close…

Laughter on eyes and lips
And something I could not explain
Growing.

We breathed,
Damp night air
Becoming day.

A subtle glow…

A Light is born.

Rigid like metal
The tension within…

Here I am hanging
Alone in the Dark,
Here hiding in Shadow
Is me.
